I had gone to a local dentist for more than 20 years. They did good work, but it always seemed like for anything other than a cleaning or filling, they needed to refer me to someone else.

My son, daughter in law, and granddaughter started going to Maine Family Dental and told us how they did everything in the office. My mother then started going to Maine Family Dental and raved about how up to date and high tech the practice was.

Finding my old dentist on vacation and needing some dental help, I contacted Maine Family Dental. I found the office staff more friendly and helpful than I had encountered in other medical practices.

For years I had been grinding my teeth at night, and my front teeth were worn down and ugly. My family had started to comment on their appearance. Dr. Buxton took a look and recommended capping all my front teeth to bring back a more attractive, healthier appearance.

Normally, a single cap is done in the office with their high tech equipment, but for the whole row of front teeth, they felt it better to get them done in a lab. First came the temporary crowns, which provided me for the first time with a much needed slight overbite.

Handsome as I thought those were, on Friday night, I lost one, and called the office. Dr. Buxton met me at the office that evening and fixed it promptly (and he was cheerful, too). A week later, I had the permanent crowns, and they went in without an issue. To date, I have not had a problem with the caps, and I think they look very natural.

I have an appointment after the first of the year to add a couple new teeth to some I have been missing for years. I highly recommend Maine Family Dental for any dental needs. They are professional and friendly and they can do it all in one location.

The Maine Family Dental Practice was recommended to me by a close friend while I was dealing with a dental emergency involving a cracked front tooth that had to be removed. The staff quickly set me up with an appointment even though I wasn't an established patient. At the time, I was completely devastated and afraid, but Dr. Buxton explained all my options and assured me that I would be happy with the end result.

I have to say that I have had a VERY satisfying experience. Dr. Buxton and his staff are friendly and professional. They have always gone above and beyond to help meet my needs, especially with scheduling appointments to fit around MY work schedule.
